“ You build your own bowl of soup with a bunch of items to chose, billed by weight. You can also get kabobs which are actually very cheaply priced and taste amazing. We actually ended up spending 60 bucks for 2 of us but it definitely doesn't have to be that much. Very tasty food. Often crowded. First get your items then pay at the register. ”
“ My favorite lunch place in Mira Mesa! Great food and lots of options to build my custom hotpot. I order take out or delivery from this place often as well, but dine in is still the best option. This location serves faster than the one in Convoy. ”
“ It was my first time coming to this location, and it was my roommate who recommended it. She tends to come here, and it makes sense why. One thing to note is that it's so good that there's always a wait time, but I can say it is worth the wait. We were seated near the door, which I was okay with because the food here warms you up soo nice. You create your own bowl of soup, and they have all different types of ingredients you can add from octopus to beef to eggs and all the veggies you can think of. The restaurant is super spacious and quaint with very nice lighting. There was also a bucket stand where you can choose meat, veggies, and potatoes on a skewer. Everything is seasoned so deliciously, and your food is weighed out, which I think is hownoye priced out, and all of it is so inexpensive. Our table was a total of 3, and we split the bill 3 ways it was about 150. I will say we had a ton of food. My bowl of soup weighed about 2 lbs. When it comes to leftovers, which i would expect most people to have, they give you a nice container. Unlike other soup places, this DOES reheat well. I did load up on noodles, so just make sure to be mindful of it soaking up a lot of the broth I will definitely be coming back for more ”
“ Ying Tang is a unique concept restaurant. It operates as a hot pot venue where you select various ingredients to place in a bowl for cooking. The options include meatballs, fish balls, lamb, beef, seafood, tofu, noodles, and vegetables. After making your selection, you bring the bowl to the cashier, who will weigh it and charge you based on the weight. You can then choose your preferred broth—options include beef bone broth, tom yum, tomato, curry, or even a dry option without broth. We tried the original beef bone broth and the tom yum, and both were very hearty and rich in umami flavor. We also had the meat skewers, and they were also very delicious. They serve beers at this location as well. We had a great meal here. ”
“ 05-27-2025 I’ve enjoyed yummy noodle soup at the Clairemont location. Having lunch here was my very first time being at this location. Love the decor and spacious dining room. I am adding this place to my favorite Mira Mesa go to restaurant list. Note: Cash payment purchases of 25 or more get free drinks, see pic ”
“ The food is so flavorful and lots of options for your hot pot. Definitely one pot can be shared. It's a cool concept for hot pot by going to the buffet bar and choosing the ingredients. The staff are friendly, but a little unhelpful. However, I'm sure it was just a "lost in translation" situation. I just went to and asked someone at register about h how it works a and they were very nice to assist me. I'm definitely going back again ”
“ Yin Tang hot pot hits different! The spice level is on point, and you get to build your own bowl exactly how you like it. comfort food with a kick, and honestly, it never misses. Perfect spot when you’re craving something bold, hot, and totally satisfying. ”
“ If you love, hot pot, but you can’t eat the amount of food in an AYCE cause it’s 40 give or take, yin tang is definitely for you. They do food by the way and it’s 13.99 a pound and I don’t ever eat more than 2 pounds worth of food because my skinny girl diet doesn’t allow me to. This is definitely the place for you. The food is fresh plus they have SKEWERS. They also have a nice little freebie for a drink. Since I’ve moved to California I’ve visited this place more than any other restaurant. The broth are fragrant and I always togo the extra soup, get some noodles and make another meal at home. The bowl is HUGE. ”
